Monday through Friday located in Student Services

  • 7:10 AM-7:20 AM
  • 2:00 PM-2:45 PM (Wed: 1:00 PM-1:45 PM)
  • Parent Meetings are scheduled by appointment

Student Appointment Request

  • Students can request an appointment at
    • Appointments made during the school day require permission from teachers first
    • Availability begins July 27, 2020


    My main goals for this school year will be to:

    • Increase the number of students accepted into a postsecondary institution
    • Increase the number of students accepted into the top universities in the nation (according the U.S. News & World report)“Super Scholars”
    • Increase the number of scholarships students receive
    • Increase the number of students completing the FAFSA and Florida Financial Aid Application (Bright Futures)
    • Ensure all seniors have a postsecondary plan


    Besides working with students regarding anything related to college and career, I will also be responsible for:

    • Scholarships-Collection of Data/Promotion with Counselors 
    • College Application Help Sessions
    • Valencia Application Days (Bridges to Success Scholarship)
    • College Visit Coordination (In-Person or Virtual Visits TBD)
    • College and Career Center-Operation
    • Financial Aid Night/FAFSA Workshops            
    • District College Fair/ College Night
    • College Acceptance Recognition Program/College Signing Day
    • Super Scholars Initiative
    • Coordinate SCOIR activities (formerly “Naviance” which students will be able to access via LaunchPad)
    • Small and large group classroom presentations
    • After school workshops to further support students and their families in Post-Secondary Planning
