Principal's Message

Welcome To Edgewater High School!
"The Pride of College Park and Orlando"

Principal Heather Kreider
Dear Edgewater Family,

Eagle families, I hope this message finds you well as we venture into another exciting week here at Edgewater High School. It has been a week filled with academics, events, and activities, and I'm excited to share all the highlights with you. Our recent "It's Poppin'" parent conference event was a great success. It provided a valuable opportunity for parents and teachers to collaborate and discuss student progress. We appreciate all the parents who attended and thank our dedicated teachers for their commitment to our students' success.

Excellent instruction continues to take place on our campus. See below for a teacher spotlight of interactive and engaging instruction on AP Biology! Our dedicated teachers are working diligently to provide our students with the best educational experience possible. We are also proud of the many ways our students are actively involved in our community, demonstrating their commitment to making a positive impact beyond our school walls.
Our school's football team had a fantastic victory Friday, defeating Apopka with an impressive score of 27-0. Our student-athletes demonstrated not only their talent but also their dedication and teamwork. They play like a family, and it shows each week.

Our Homecoming Spirit Week is in full swing! Starting with "I woke up like this" (aka pajama day) on Monday, our students will have an opportunity to showcase their creativity and school spirit through various themed dress-up days this week. See below for the full list of daily themes. On Thursday, we will have the homecoming parade on Edgewater Drive and the week will end with a pep rally on Friday (following a pep rally bell schedule) and the game!

We will have another busy week ahead with the Superintendent Town Hall on Wednesday, 9/27 from 6:30 - 7:30 in the media center. I hope to see you there! Thank you for your ongoing support, and please stay engaged in the upcoming school activities.

Thank you for reading.
