EHS Student Parking 2021 - 2022

 Note: Please be aware of the LOCATION for Student Parking. Students may NOT park in the PAR/EDGEWATER LOT or visitor parking. 
Seniors and Juniors who wish to utilize Edgewater High School for parking privileges must complete and submit the necessary parking application form below, this includes dual enrollment students. The cost of a reserved parking spot student parking decal will be $60. (The cost DOES NOT include the paint). 
Students are to complete the form application below with a parent or guardian. In addition, the student must clear any fees or fines on http://destiny.ocps.net/ and/or with Mr. Rivard, Media Center Specialist.
Senior students must have 21 credits and a 2.0 GPA and Junior students must have 14 credits and a 2.0 GPA for a parking permit. Sophomores will need Principal approval  in order to gain a parking permit.  

STEPS:

STEP 1: Complete the Parking Application using the form below. Be advised that the form will require that you upload a copy of your driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance. Files MUST be under 1MB and can be an image, document, or PDF. You must be able to login to your Student Google account to purchase.  The Vehicle Registration must only be in the parent/guardian or student's name.

Step 3:  Bring school pay receipt to Mrs. Krupinski in Attendance. It is important that students follow the instructions above or a hanger and space will NOT be issued. (This includes ALL obligations cleared, GPA requirement met, all required documents uploaded, and school pay receipt).

 Application Procedures:

 Students are to complete the form, have parents or guardians digitally sign the application form, and clear any fees, obligations or fines. http://destiny.ocps.net/

 Edgewater High School reserves the right to deny any student the privilege of parking based on their attendance and disciplinary history at school. Senior students must have 21 credits and a 2.0 GPA and Junior students must have 14 credits and a 2.0 GPA for a parking permit.

 Only Seniors and Juniors are eligible to purchase parking permits. No Sophomores or Freshmen will be granted permits without principal approval.

 Please make sure to read all the rules of the parking lot on the application. If any of the rules are violated, a monetary fine/obligation could be issued. A student's car could be booted and tag revoked if any rules are violated.

 THIS SHALL SERVE AS NOTICE THAT EDGEWATER HIGH SCHOOL AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF ORANGE COUNTY ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY VANDALISM TO, THEFT OF OR FROM, VEHICLES PARKED ON THE PROPERTY.

This year Edgewater is allowing our Senior students to paint their own parking space. The fee for this is Senior Only Activity is $30. This Senior only activity is aimed at improving school pride and camaraderie. Students can "own" a piece of the school. We encourage students to express themselves through positive artwork, to beautify the campus, to build school spirit, to create a Senior tradition, and support Student Body activities and Senior events.

  • You will need to complete the Senior Personalization form linked here: Senior Personalization form. You will fill this out AFTER you have paid for your parking tag and chosen your parking spot and after you paid the personalization fee. Both are available on School Pay after July 15, 2021.
  •  This form will close on Thursday, August 5th at 12pm. It has specific instructions about personalizing your space, acknowledgement of requirements and guidelines, and it is where you will upload your design. Your design must be approved. You will need to bring a copy of your approval email and your approved design that you submitted with you on the painting day.
  •  Parking Space Personalization will be on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 8:00am -11:30am and Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 8:00am -11:30am for Seniors who purchased the personalization option in advances. We are not able to sell this option day of the event.
  •  If we are rained out, there will be a makeup day on Saturday, August 14th from 8:00am – 11:30am. This is not a make-up day. It will be only offered if we are RAINED out.
