Dual Enrollment is a program that allows you to take courses at one of 5 Orange Technical College locations while still enrolled in your high school. Why wait until graduation, when you can start earning college credit and prepare for your career today?

High school students in grades 11 and 12 may attend tech school half-day and earn elective credits to obtain a career. Participating students, meeting all established requirements, will graduate from their home high school and be eligible to participate in extracurricular activities including the graduation ceremony. There is no charge for tuition or books.

  • Many dual enrollment classes are AP or Honors weighted.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Be a student in 11th or 12th grade (some programs have specific requirements).
  • Possess a 2.0 unweighted grade point average.
  • Be on target for graduation.
  • Magnet students must get approval from their Magnet coordinator in order to participate in OTC Dual Enrollment.
